Its okay to be a wrestling fan (07)

In wrestling, there are things called feuds. This is a storyline involving usually two but sometimes more wrestlers. One represents good, the other bad. This was the final hype promo video for El Generico vs. Kevin Steen, a feud from professional wrestling organization Ring of Honor, that lasted a year. In my opinion, their feud was the best written piece of professional wrestling in the last five years. It was almost poetic in its artistry, and the two played their parts perfectly, Generico the betrayed face of good that did not want to fall into violence against his former friend, but was left no choice by Steen’s actions. In fact, ever since his heel turn at the end of 2009 as part of this storyline, Kevin Steen has been consistently the hottest performer on the independent scene today. This is fantastic pro wrestling. For anyone who also thinks there are only 2 companies in this game, very soon Ring of Honor will be broadcasting their weekly TV show live from their website. For anyone who loves wrestling but has lost interest in WWE or TNA, that is where you should go.

It is okay to be a wrestling fan.
